World-class telecommunications services. This is our business, and innovation is how we achieve success. A historically perspective of our operations support reconfirms our claim. We were the first in the Middle East:
- to introduce mobile and paging services in Kuwait with the ETACS system and the dual-band GSM 900/1800 MHz
- to introduce commercial MMS in the Middle East and the first to introduce interconnectivity between countries in which we operate to facilitate MMS
- to introduce GPRS in Kuwait and Jordan
- the first to introduce advanced data services in the Middle East region
- to launch 3G and introduce dual 3G/EDGE services in the Middle East
- to introduce Customised Application for Mobile Network Enhance Logic (CAMEL) roaming
- We were the first regional operator to offer customers the convenience and efficiency of paying online, for both prepaid and post-paid services.
